For all this time, I failed to notice I hadn't inserted my age in my (viewable) profile. It's there now. (If you read this, are on my list of people I've fanned, and you would like me to avoid your profile in future, please tell me - message will do, should catch it next time I'm here, if nothing's gone wrong - and I will remember, and make a note besides. Gah, what a mistake. Sorry.)

One central New York summer

Not planning on writing at length. A bit of a whirl relatively speaking (joke of a sort, though the events weren't) with my parents visiting one weekend, and my visiting them the next. Went well and goes well, mostly, anycase. We caught a musical, the weather was temperate by local standards (it hasn't been since really), but I've been online fewer places than usual and a little less often.
Anycase, best wishes to all contestants and especially thanks to those who've become my fans.

But one tries again... to borrow a line from a Spiderman comic some years back, I _am_ one of the most trying people (I) know. Anyhow.
I find it's probably a good idea for me to mention on social sites (this counts) that I do very poorly at social interaction, and there are good reasons beyond the usual for this.
Will be glad to explain at length and more usefully, another time.

extended family visit, which included dental work and a conference (www.ahany.org front page for that...), and about to go see an interesting exhibition (www.suitcaseexhibit.org) tomorrow. Keeping busy. How's all?
