We are the force unseen. Yet some people still find the need to tell us off for our actions. Are they not aware of what we can do? The shadows are all that they see of us, all they will ever see, out of the corner of their eye. First we’re there… Click. Then we’re gone. Quicker than buttered lightning, smooth as a well oiled precisely tuned petrol engine, quiet as a mouse dodging the hunting cats and as stealthy as the Jaguar on the prowl for it’s next catch. Yet what we hunt is not for our meal, but for our delight. For our pleasure, for our satisfaction. We hunt the metal and plastic beasts that patrol this land upon the laid down tracks. Guiding it towards it’s impending destiny, to come within our laser sights… Click. And be shot for all it’s worth. Slow or fast, it does not matter, express, semi fast or commuter, all will be taken in by the people behind the trigger. Then it’s free to go once we’ve done our job and moved on, the beast is our beast, we attempt to tame it and bring it under our own control. Yet most of us will never succeed to do so, the beast will always run, and most will always chase it, chase and chase and chase… Click. We act independently and on our own accord, we are commissioned by nobody and run for our life. Every time we arrive we are peering through the lenses at our next target, sometimes lying in wait forever for it to roll into our grasp. Which means people should not ridicule. Instead be thankful. Terrorists and bombers walk in fear of our sharp eyes and lightning quick instinct, for we are the third eye in the fight of the war on terror.
