Alex Sim-Wise is possibly Britain’s finest natural redhead… and she’s got a personality to match. Quite refreshingly, she’s known as a girl who speaks her mind. Alex is a tough-talking bolshie character who doesn’t suffer fools gladly. She’ll tell you exactly what’s on her mind regardless of who it might upset. Alex was born in Coventry and started modelling after winning the 2004 FHM Student of the Year competition. This turned her into one of the country’s most sought after glamour models. She made her Daily Star Page 3 debut in 2005 and the following year won the Cover Girl for the Daily Star Sunday newspaper. The next year she reached new heights again, winning the Playboy UK Cyber Girl of the Year. In 2007 and 2008 she worked closely with CandyCrib. As well as several photo shoots, CandyCrib also captured plenty of exclusive video footage too. 32DD Alex, who went to the University of East Anglia and was captain of its Cheerleading squad, graduated with a 2:1 in Film and American Studies. She has her own regular column on Front magazine and describes herself more as a rock chick than a traditional glamour girl. This is reflected in her work with The Fratellis (she is the real-life version of the redhead pin-up on Costello Music, the band’s 2006 debut album), Sham 69, and the Ministry of Sound. Alex is also increasingly on our TV Screens. She had small parts in Brit films The Bank Job and RockNRoller, Nuts TV and is a regular Talking Head on Fiver’s Generation Sex. She has her own show on Sumo TV called In Bed with Sim-Wise, and has interviewed Jack Black while he was promoting Kung-Fu Panda.
