Whys it so quiet!?!

		I figured with the shitey rain and greyness people would be indoors hibernating and on tinternet! Hibernating certainly is a good plan. I slept for 11 hours last night and felt awesome today- didnt even slightly fall asleep in my lecture on Haemostasis! Saturday I worked for Jagermeister on Holloway Road. I worked 3 venues. The first was some cool little alternative type place where there were about 15 people- yet we sold 11 shots and the people were friendly. Some awesome irish poet gave me lots of advice about being sensible and the world being my oyster. Its random interactions like that that make the job enjoyable! Then we went across the road to some proper old mans pub. Its officially the worst venue ive ever worked- even more so than the place in Shoreditch where everyone downstairs was E-ed of their tits and upstairs they were far too sensible and posh to speak to the 'hired help'. Here the old geezers had obviously been drinking all day- most couldnt stand up and had only 3 teeth. The majority you couldnt understand what they were saying so you had to nod, agree and try to sell to them, before realising they were asking if you liked sex or if Jagermeister would make them hard. One guy, not a day under 65 called me over and asked for my number. Yummy! The there was the DJ- the epitome of a nerd boy- scrawny, ginger, in an orange/beige plaid shirt and smelt like cheese. He spent his time playing really shite old music from the 70s/80s for some dudes 70th birthday. Yet he is one of the most arrogant people ive met in years! Walked over, knew you had to buy shots, grabbed a load and necked them and was a total cock about paying! Grrrrrrr Luckily we ended the night on a high over at Big red. My kinda place, its a bit like Crobar, Intrepid Fox and other gnarly little bars. But the atmosphere is friendlier and each table is lit by candles. We sold quite a bit in here and I had a laugh chatting to all the nice people! Was just a bit of a shame the girl I was working with had a face like thunder and an attitude to go with it! She seemed to scare a few people off! After that I went out clubbing. Danced around a bit. Saw loadsa people I havent in ages! Met some newbies that were ace! Forcefed my friend Phee some absinthe! Then tried to get a cab home at 4ish and when it didnt show had to get the nightbus where people were threatening to stab eachother. Didnt get home until 6am and my poor man had to be up for work at 8am! Ok well im all outta steam now! I have some new piccies up, taken in a very awesome dungeon. Enjoy! Loz x

London night buses are great... especially when you fall asleep on them and end up at the end of the line and miles from your halls. Oh what fun that birthday was with my brother trying it on with some guy's g/f.
